1. Our approach
Your privacy is central to what we do — many clients come to us in sensitive situations. We collect only what we need and protect it carefully.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, password (stored hashed).
- Verification information: identity documents you provide for case acceptance.
- Case information: the details, files and evidence you submit.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processor; we don't store card details. Crypto payments are recorded by transaction reference.
- Technical information: IP address (used to derive approximate country), device/browser data, basic analytics.
3. How we use it
- To assess, accept and work your case.
- To verify identity, ownership and victim status, and prevent misuse.
- To process payments and maintain records (including proof of policy acceptance).
- To communicate with you and improve our Services.
4. Legal basis & retention
We process your information to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in preventing misuse. We retain case and verification records as long as necessary and as required by law, then delete or anonymize them.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (hosting, payment, identity verification) under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and other safeguards, and limit access to your case to the team members working it.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data. Email privacy@blackhak.com.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the site and optional analytics cookies to understand usage.
