Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
We work for victims and authorized owners — only.
BlackHak exists to help people who have been harmed online and to help organizations secure their own systems. We do not take the attacker's side, ever. These rules are enforced as part of our intake process.
1. Who we help
- Victims of blackmail, sextortion, scams, fraud, hacking, or harassment.
- Owners seeking to recover or secure their own accounts, devices and data.
- Organizations authorizing testing or review of systems they own or operate.
2. What we will not do — under any circumstances
- Perform, assist, or facilitate blackmail, extortion or threats against anyone.
- Access or "recover" any account, device or data that is not the client's own.
- Conduct covert surveillance, tracking or monitoring of a person without consent, or install spyware/stalkerware.
- Support stalking or harassment, or anything related to a domestic-violence, custody or no-contact situation.
- Test or access systems the client does not own or have written authorization to test.
- Buy, sell or handle stolen data, or engage in "hack-for-hire" against third parties.
- Anything unlawful in the jurisdictions in which we and the client operate.
3. Verification we require
- Identity verification before a case is accepted.
- Victim or ownership attestation: a signed statement that you are the victim and/or owner.
- Authorization & scope (business): a signed authorization for any testing or review.
These records are stored securely and timestamped. Providing false information to obtain our services is a breach of these terms and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
4. Enforcement
We screen every enquiry and case against this policy and may decline or stop any case, without a cash refund (see our Refund Policy). We cooperate with lawful requests from appropriate authorities.
5. Reporting misuse
If you believe someone is trying to misuse our services, contact abuse@blackhak.com.
